We are an all ages, all inclusive group of homeschoolers in the Pioneer Valley. Our focus is on providing social opportunities for home educated children. This includes teens and tweens. Athough our most active members are from the Greater Springfield area, all are welcome to join us regardless of geographic location. We are "liberated" learners in the sense that our children do not attend brick and mortar schools. We do not advocate a particular homeschooling method or parenting style. Some of us are proud Christians, while others have no particular religious affiliation. This group is open to every one.
We are a student and family focused group that is not "owned" by particular members. We value the input of all of the member families. Before approving your online subscription to the Yahoo Group, we ask that you will be willing to meet with us in person. Our only requirement is that you are a person who is either homeschooling or interested in doing the same.
There is no fee to join us. There may be admission charges or materials fees for various activities but no fee for membership.
Our member children range in age from three to fifteen.
